Anita and Chet make an awesome mother-son team at C4 Builders, and their passion for construction runs deep. Growing up, dinner conversations were all about the family business—Anita running a local commercial contracting company and dad working at a design and engineering firm.

Chet Line, President

Growing up Chet’s early summers were spent working as a laborer for his mother’s construction company.  After getting a degree in finance he used that hands-on knowledge to leverage his project management skills on the job site.  Working at a local general contractor for nearly a decade, Chet has always had a strong focus on relationships and the estimating side of things.  Chet served his last few years as Director of Preconstruction before deciding to pursue his dream of opening his own construction company.

One of his main goals is to always build relationships along with projects, it’s the people and the relationships along the way that make the job fun.

Combining Anita’s years of experience with Chet’s fresh perspective and financial savvy, they turn every project into a success story, making the whole process as smooth and easy as possible.

Anita Hettum, Vice President

Anita (Chet’s Mother) is an accomplished business operations strategist and consultant with a robust background in driving organizational growth and efficiency. With extensive experience in both startup and established business environments, Anita excels in analyzing historical data, optimizing operational processes, and developing strategic plans that facilitate revenue growth and business evolution.

Previously, Anita served as VP of Finance and HR at Steelhead Surgical, Inc., where she played a pivotal role in scaling the company from 23 to 88 employees and increasing annual sales from $28 million to $72 million.

Cody Line, Vice President

Cody is rooted in construction.  Similar to Chet, he started his career working summers and weekends for his mother’s construction company performing tasks anywhere from demo to accounting and everything in between.  Cody received his B.S. in Construction Engineering Management (CEM) from Oregon State University. After graduating, Cody began his career working for a large national contractor helping grow their mass timber construction group.  In 2021 Cody moved over to a Full Service EPC mass timber contractor to help start the company.  In 4 years, Cody helped grow that company from ~$11M in revenue to over $80M in revenue.

Cody brings a production focus to the company, with an emphasis on streamlining process and quality.
